Russian Crab Group of Companies takes part in Gulfood 2024 in Dubai
Russian Crab Group of Companies represents its products in Dubai at the International Food Exhibition Gulfood 2024. The company offers cooked-frozen products from red king crab as well as premium tinned crab and crabmeat from its new retail product range to the attention of the exhibition visitors.
“Crabmeat products have good prospects in the Middle East market. We shipped the first lots to importers from the UAE and Saudi Arabia after participating in exhibitions last year, and the volumes have increased manifold over the year. All in all, 40 tons of products were supplied in 2023,” said Yulia Yurova, Deputy Director General for Commercial Affairs of Russian Crab Group of Companies.
The company takes part in the exhibition as part of the national exposition Made in Russia organised by the Russian Export Centre. Earlier, within the framework of cooperation with REC, the brand’s products were presented in China as well as at special events for Russian exporters.
Gulfood is the largest and most influential food and beverage industry exhibition in the world, Gulf region and Middle East region. It will be held for the 29th time in 2024. It is expected that over 130 thousand people from 195 countries of the world will visit it from February 19 to 23.
Russian Crab Group of Companies is one of the leading crab fishing companies in Russia. Since 2024, the company owns the rights for harvesting 18.2 thousand tons of crab in the subzones of the north-west Pacific, which is the largest volume of crab quotas in the Far Eastern fishery basin. Target species of the company are red king crab, blue king crab, golden king crab, snow crab, Bairdi crab, horsehair crab.
