Russian Crab Company Group has allocated more than 40 million rubles for the prevention of COVID-19 in 2020
«In March 2020, the Сompany developed a set of sanitary measures in order to prevent the contagion of coronavirus infection and protect its employees. Strict compliance with rules and recommendations supported us in prevention outbreaks of diseases in company’s vessels and offices», — said Alexander Sapozhnikov, the General Director, Russian Crab Company. He noticed that the Company also strictly fulfills the anti-Covid recommendations received from importing countries: ship crews do Covid-19 test when entering international ports; disinfect containers and products packaging; and provide with all the necessary protective tools and equipment.
As a part of anti-pandemic program, the Company allocated an additional 6.9 million rubles for charitable donations: the purchase of medicines for the Hospital in Vladivostok, converted to the treatment of coronavirus patients, and the supply of canned food to elderly people who were on self-isolation.
In 2021, the Russian Crab continues to work in compliance with COVID-19 prevention measures and plans to provide the necessary organizational assistance in getting vaccinated to employees and crew members.
